NURS 1170 - Bridge to Registered Nurse (RN) Practice

Credit(s): 9

An introduction to the practice of nursing, with emphasis on meeting therapeutic nursing care of adults and children with physiological, psychosocial, perioperative needs, introduction to pharmacotherapeutics, and application of fundamental concepts and the beginning development of nursing competencies. The study and application of nursing skills necessary to meet patient needs across the lifespan are included in this course. No separate lab time but in class performance and practice.

Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into PSCC nursing program.
