RATS 2910 - Recording Arts, Technology & Science Capstone

A project-oriented course that emphasizes planning, execution, and completion of a large-format media project, not necessarily audio-only, but in which the student is completely responsible for all aspects of the audio. A team-based project is acceptable, only with approval. Students integrate and apply previous knowledge, skills, and experiences they have learned in their major and other academic courses to complete this project. The course emphasizes technical skills, subjective/esthetic judgments, applied Pro Audio skills, critical thinking, diplomatic client and teamwork skills, self/continuing education, problem solving, and critical listening ability.

Prerequisite(s): Must be taken in the final semester or with coordinator approval
