The A+/Network+ curriculum provides the entry-level knowledge, skills and experience required for employment in the field of computer systems administration. Students who complete the certificate will be able to install, configure, upgrade, diagnose and troubleshoot typical PC hardware and software; identify and respond to the needs of networked PC users; and address PC network connection problems, security issues and other infrastructural challenges.
Credits earned may be applied toward the Computer Information Technology/Cyber Defense Concentration, A.A.S. , Computer Information Technology/Networking Concentration, A.A.S. or the Computer Information Technology/Systems Administration and Management Concentration, A.A.S. degree.
Courses in each level (Foundation and Core) must be completed prior to advancing to the next level. Where more than one course is offered within a level, courses may be taken in any sequence.
