MATH 1130 - College Algebra ■ ♦ ★Credit(s): 3 This course is designed for students who are not in University Parallel/College Transfer programs of science, mathematics, engineering, or computer science. The course will focus on the tools of problem solving, critical thinking, and the appropriate use of modeling and technologies. Topics include linear, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions and their graphs and applications as well as linear and nonlinear regression models.
Prerequisite(s): High school algebra I and algebra II and ACT math score of at least 21 and an ACT reading score of at least 19

equivalent math and reading scores

MATH 1030 or equivalent course
