An introductory course in microbiology dealing with bacteria, fungi, yeast, and viruses to include discussions of cell structure, identification, taxonomy, metabolism, genetics, resistance, infection, disease, and immunity. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1110 or BIOL 2010 or CHEM 1010 or CHEM 1110
