Credit(s):3This course provides an introduction to welding terminology, safety, procedures, joint designs and equipment. Focus is on running beads in the flat position using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW and GTAW processes. Topics also include application of thermal cutting techniques and use of standard shop equipment.
