NURS 2170 - Transitions to Nursing Practice

Credit(s): 3

The hybrid course provides the foundation for understanding organizational behavior, developing nursing leadership and management skills to assist the student in the transition to registered nurse. Emphasis will be placed on the development of professional behaviors. Highlights from each area of nursing practice will be reviewed, including knowledge and application of nursing processes appropriate to each stage of development, disease processes, application of the nursing process to each state of development, and issues related to nursing practice.
